Wer wir sind und was wir tun

Hallo zusammen

Sandra

Hawthorne Community Fair 5th Nov. 2011

They say when the economy is tough people revert to old-fashioned ideals and family entertainment. Well, if that's the case then people will be flocking to Hawthorne's Inaugural Community Fair on Saturday 5th November. The fair hits just the spot as a fun, family day out that won't cost the earth.
Ride the train
All aboard!

Local businesses will be out in force offering a truly international smorgasbord of food to feast on from curry to gozlemes, chorizos to cup cakes and not forgetting Kevin Rudd's team on the good, old Aussie sausage sizzle. You can get in early with your Christmas shopping with some exceptional stalls provided by some of the area's best retailers and mumpreneurs too.
Water balls
Walk on water

If your kids have ever wondered what it feels like to be a hamster in one of those exercise balls – this is their big chance to find out. The Walk on Water Balloons that you may have seen on Robina's lake will be available for a fun experience. You can also ride on the Panther Train sponsored by Councillor Shayne Sutton.

Other entertainment includes a Best Dressed Dog competition, the Relay Challenge of the Codes and The Panthers Paper, Scissors, Rock knockout. There will be music from several of the local schools whilst you can take part in old favourites such as Lob A Choc, face painting or the Christmas Tree Balloon Bust where you have a 1 in 3 chance to win a prize. And if you've got energy to spare you can take part in the largest outdoor Zumba class at 1.30pm.

Looking for some old fashioned family entertainment? Look no further than Hawthorne Oval, Riding Road. Saturday 5 November : 10am - 5pm
