Wer wir sind und was wir tun

Hallo zusammen

Wie die meisten von euch ja schon vernommen haben, habe ich die Organisation der Schweizer Spielgruppe von Kathrin uebernommen.

Fuer alle diejenigen, welche noch nie bei einem Treffen dabei waren, moechte ich hiermit einen Aufruf der Ermutigung rausschicken. Es waere schoen, wenn wir in Zukunft einige neue Gesichter begruessen koennten, nicht zuletzt, um nicht eines Tages einfach auszusterben, wenn alle unsere Kinder zur Schule gehen.

Im Moment treffen wir uns eher sporadisch da die Gruppe der regelmaessigen Teilnehmerinnen eher klein ist. Wir koennen die Treffen aber ohne Weiteres auch neuen Teilnehmerinnnen anpassen. Ich bin auch immer fuer Vorschlaege von neuen Spielplaetze oder anderen kinderfreundlichen Happenings offen.

The Queensland Government Parent Ready Reader Program acknowledges parents as important partners in education.

This workshop is part of the Parent Ready Reader Program to help encourage your children's love of reading.
The workshop explores:
  • How daily activities provide opportunities for early reading
  • How to engage your child with reading and stimulate their interest
  • How to support your child’s reading at home

Great websites for kids

Great Websites for Kids is a compilation of exemplary websites geared to children from birth to age 14. Suggested sites are evaluated by the Great Websites for Kids Committee using established selection criteria. The committee is made up of members of the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association.
Newly evaluated and accepted sites are added to the database three times a year. The committee also reviews all sites within the database twice a year to guarantee sites are still relevant, appropriate and accessible.

Circus Royale in town untill 5th of Feb

Circus Royale is in town !

The Circus Royale will be held at the Mt Gravatt Showgrounds and will be showing from January the 25th till February 5th. Show timings are available on the official website and are generally at 10:30am, 3:00pm and 7:30pm. There's nothing like going to a circus for a great time out, so gather your mates and plan to attend.
