Brisbane Winter Festival
Enjoy the delights of an authentic European winter in the heart of the city, as the Brisbane Winter Festival comes to Brisbane for the first time ever.
Following incredible success in Sydney and Melbourne, The Australian Winter Festival comes to Brisbane for the very first time in 2011, promising to turn the heart of the city into a winter wonderland from June 9 - 26.
Located at the iconic King George Square, the 2011 Brisbane Winter Festival offers a myriad of winter indulgences from the exhilarating to the mouth-watering, including an array of gourmet winter food, some dazzling action on the ice including thrilling ice shows and performances, cosy indoor woodfires and our very own Lipton Chai Latte Lodge.
Brisbane thrill seekers can enjoy a skate on Brisbane's largest outdoor ice skating rink, measuring an impressive 900m², while food-lovers can sample delicious dishes from over 20 winter-loving countries.
Feeling the cool? Relax and warm up with a traditional Glühwein (authentic mulled wine) by the fireplace or take time out with a steaming chai in the Lipton Chai Latte Lodge.
